How to Improve Breathing During Exercise

Breathing is a fundamental part of exercise.

Proper breathing helps us maintain energy and avoid injuries. However, many athletes do not pay attention to their breathing during training. Today, we want to share some tips to improve breathing during exercise. 😮‍💨

👀 Pay attention to your breathing: Many athletes focus so much on movement that they forget to breathe properly. The key is to be aware of your breathing at all times. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.

🔀 Coordination: Coordination is crucial. It's important that movement and breathing are in sync. For example, when lifting weights, exhale as you lift and inhale as you lower. This will help you maintain stability and improve technique.

〰️ Rhythm: The rhythm of breathing is important. During cardiovascular training, it's helpful to breathe rhythmically. Inhaling for 3 seconds and exhaling for another 3 seconds is a good option at low intensity; adapt your breathing according to the pace.

🧘🏽 Practice: Like any other skill, breathing needs to be practised to improve. Practise breathing exercises and try to apply what you've learned during your training.

‼️ Remember that breathing is an important part of training. By maintaining proper breathing, you'll be able to better control your exercise pace and likely sustain activity for longer and in better condition. Start practising today!
