Enjoying the challenge is part of reaching the finish line.

Because actually reaching the finish also depends on how you choose to face the journey.

This was my experience at the XXX La Costilla Open Water Swim, Rota, Cádiz. The sea was rough, and its current demanded constant attention, careful timing of every breath, and keeping a steady course.

From every experience I learn something new. This time I realised that in open water, endurance alone isn’t enough. Technique, physical preparation, and the ability to adapt are essential.

To anyone reading this: never doubt your strengths and skills. Enjoy the process.
