Celebrate the Festive Season with a Healthy and Balanced Menu

🎄 Enjoy the Festive Season with Balance and Health 🎄

At CLIPIN, we believe the holidays are for celebrating, enjoying, and connecting with others, but also for looking after yourself. That's why we're sharing a festive fitness and balanced menu that you can tailor to your tastes.

The amount of food should also align with your goals.

Here are some meal ideas with various options

🍳 Breakfast

  • Avocado toast with egg (scrambled or French omelette) or a thin slice of seitan with black pepper
  • A handful of nuts
  • A piece of fruit

🥤 Mid-morning Snack

  • Protein shake with plant-based milk and banana
  • Optional: a homemade or trusted protein bar

🍲 Lunch

  • Vegetable soup with chickpeas and spices (a vegan version of a light stew)
  • Alternative or complement: warm spinach, pomegranate and fresh cheese salad (or smoked tofu)

🥕 Afternoon Snack

  • Hummus with carrot sticks, celery or toasted wholemeal bread
  • Naturally toasted nuts

🌱 Dinner

  • Stewed lentils with vegetables and a touch of bay leaf
  • Alternative: oven-baked fish with lemon and herbs or marinated tofu grilled on a pan

🍓 Dessert

  • Fresh fruit skewers, colourful with a hint of cinnamon
  • Optional: protein yoghurt with grated dark chocolate (>85%)

💡 CLIPIN tips for the holidays:

  • Stay hydrated throughout the day. If you choose to toast with a drink, alternating with water is a good way to avoid overindulgence.
  • Enjoy a festive treat in moderation.
  • Stay active: a walk with family or a short workout can help you enjoy the holidays with more energy.
